Starlight Llama Solar Bed and Breakfast

Starlight Llama Solar Bed and Breakfast is Massachusetts’ FIRST solar-powered, off-the-grid, bed and breakfast place.  We are located in Florence, a section of Northampton, in an area of Western Massachusetts know as the Pioneer Valley. Our bed and breakfast, in operation since 2008, is just minutes from downtown Northampton, but light years from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Hike, bike, snowshoe, walk our trails, and if you'd like, weed the gardens or help us bring in the hay.. Feed the goats and llamas, toss a snack to the peacocks, or see why everyone loves our miniature donkey. A visit to our llama farm takes you to 120 acres of conservation restricted property that has been in our family for 6 generations.

Llamas at our Bed and Breakfast placeStarlight Llama offers three beautiful rooms each decorated with original art, and a mixture of antique, contemporary and Shaker reproduction furniture. Each room has a single queen sized bed. Two rooms have their own private bathroom en suite and have their own private entrance. The third room is the largest of the three, and has its private bathroom located directly across the hall.

Breakfast starts with coffee or an offering of teas, fresh fruit, and a delicious breakfast of Swedish oatmeal pancakes, cider French toast, egg dishes compliments of our free-range hens, or seasonal foods from our organic gardens.
